Rolling out now for Insiders, the app's latest update brings the return of "contact online" notifications, which volition alert yous whenever a contact is available on Skype (via Neowin).

The setting is turned off by default, simply you can quickly toggle it on and off by heading to the "Notifications" area of the settings menu.
